Foreign born in the Hurricane Katrina disaster areas, 2000
Foreign born in the Hurricane Rita disaster areas, 2000
US-born senior population in Mexico, 2000
Below are links to the maps showing the distribution by state, county,
and/or metropolitan area of the foreign born overall and of the five
largest immigrant groups according to the results of 2006 American Community
Survey and Census 2000. These maps demonstrate that the immigrant populations
are not evenly distributed across the United States but are concentrated
in certain regions, states, and urban areas.
