Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format for content distribution.
RSS feeds allow you to get the latest information you want in one place,
as soon as its published, without having to visit the websites you have
taken the feed from.
The Language Portal feed includes updates to Practitioners’ Corner,
Hot Topics in Translation/Interpretation Service Provision
and major additions to the Language Portal Digital Library.
To properly read the feed, you need an RSS reader. This is a piece of
software that checks the feeds you've subscribed to and lets you read
any new articles that have been added. Some readers are accessed using
a browser, and some are downloadable applications.
Please see this article from
CNET.com for more information on RSS readers.
Language Portal RSS feeds are free. Just click on this button to
get the code you need for your reader.
